We've taken several does and a spike. Haven't seen any of or target bucks for several weeks on camera and when we did see them it was at night. Pulled pics today not much activity.

I hunt just outside of Bryson and have hunted all of archery season and all of gun season so far (on the weekends) and have seen plenty of does and young bucks but only two bucks that were barley wider than 13" that I past on. Have not seen a good mature buck this season and rutting activity seems non existent. Can't figure it out. I did not see any acorns this season and there are no wheat fields on our place. There were a few bucks killed on our lease but barley over 13" either the big ones are nocturnal or not on our place. Frustrating for sure.

I'm right south of wizard wells. One nice eight taken two weeks ago. Other than that it's been a very rough year, not much on cams and very little from stands. Very slow start to gun season

Bbcat, I did see a nice early morning buck off 114/380 just west of wizard wells early last Saturday morning, about 4:45AM or so. He was probably a 10 pt. or so but overall much less activity driving through there on my way to Graham than usually seen or more appropriately avoided in the truck:)).

Seeing mainly does, a few yearling spikes, several non-legal young 4, 6 & 8 points. Next year ought to be real interesting...

We've put a couple of large doe in the freezer & had a good time sitting around the camp fire....

An old, mature taken this weekend by one guy on the lease. It was probably 17 or 18 inches wide. Another taken in October, 11 point drop tine, byanother lease member. I have passed on 2 deer that were about 15 or 16 inches wide so far.

We are near Jermyn area. I would post pics but don't think I can from phone.

Hunted Young county on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. Not Jack, but close enough.

Sunday afternoon, my son rattled in a decent young 8 point. We also spooked several does that were hanging out at the edge of the woods as we drove by in the truck. I saw one raghorn that evening.

On Monday morning, I saw different 4 does, all at separate times, but no bucks. Certainly doesn't seem to be any kind of chasing going on with all the unattended does I saw.

I tried rattling too but no luck.
