As long as it's not in the mid 80s and above I can take it.

The Channel 11 Weather Team here in Houston is calling for a push of cold Canadian air with rain on or just before Halloween. Nothing can get them moving better than cold and wet.

From the National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio for the TX South Central Plains:

LONG RANGE MODELS CONTINUE THE PATTERN OF BACKING OFF ON THE TIMING OF THE NEXT FRONT NEXT WEEK. THE ECMWF IS MORE PROGRESSIVE WITH FROPA ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHILE THE GFS IS MUCH SLOWER WITH FROPA 24 HOURS LATER. THE FCST FOR MONDAY THRU WEDNESDAY WILL BE BASED ON THE 12Z ECMWF SOLUTION.

EECMWF and GFS are the math model programs they run to predict the weather. FROPA just stands for 'front passage.'
