shot 2 does and a 8 point buck for myself. my two cousins both shot a modest 10 point a piece.
my other cousin shot a old old ten point that was in the 120's and my uncle shot a forkhorn cull. that was it for the immediate family.
Had a hunter shoot a managment 10 and a doe and a distant relative shot a doe.

3 hogs and no deer for us. Drought has hurt our area bad. No shooter bucks showed during the daylight and we just didn't feel like we need to take any does.
Time to thin out the yotes now!

Re: moment of silence... - 01/22/13 01:40 AM
480 +/- acres, one hunter, 1 no-brow cull, two does, 7-8 yotes, 1 bobcat, couple of coons.
Season and pre-season started off poor, after a couple of very poor years. However, things really improved late in the season with alot of new bucks starting to show themselves. Very optimistic for next year.

96 acres. Didn't shoot anything this year. I passed on an 8 pointer and a 10 pointer on opening morning, but they never showed up again. Passed on plenty of doe, and now that it's doe season, they aren't showing themselves either. I'll be out there for one more try during the last weekend.

1 hog. I passed on a couple of really nice bucks, but they will be great next year - still hoping to kill a doe in Feb at a friend's managed property.

Re: moment of silence...' - 02/05/13 12:30 AM
One of toughest seasons had in years, was still blessed with a Brown County 8pt, and my first homegrown(three foodplots and a feeder) deer that was also my first muzzleloader deer, a nice 7pt. But only saw 12 deer all season between 900 ET acres, 400 Brown county acres and the back of my home 20 acres.
