My Idaho Elk is home!!

It's been a long journey - time wise but my Idaho Elk is now home. I have to say that work done on this mount highlights the end to a lifelong dream of mine to do a true backcountry elk hunt. I want to say thank you to everyone at Double Nickle Taxidermy in New Braunfels, the work they do is truly amazing. Now the wife and I are trying to find a place in our house to put him.

I met you in Riggins right before you went out and shot that bad boy. Me and my group were the guys with a bed full of elk heads and i think we talked at the grocery store the day before you were supposed to head out. With the weather you guys had coming in, me and my group were thinking "that guy is going to have a terrible time." Glad you were able to connect on a monster!

That droptine is awesome and good luck finding a place in the casa worthy of him!
