Young County 10 Pointer

Young County 10 Pointer - 12/10/23 07:55 PM

This 10 point buck showed on my camera one time only on 11/15. He's an interesting one with some character. Has a couple of acorn tips. I've been passing legal bucks almost every hunt since hoping he would show. I was about to give up fearing a neighbor had got him as he had never been on my camera again. However, I'm thinking now he was laid up with a doe as I caught him going to the corn this morning. Before and After pics. Sorry the pics aren't the greatest. Was hunting alone so no pretty pose. He came off a 100 acre family lease I have north of Loving.

I think he's probably been doing some fighting too as I have an 8 point that has busted off part of his mainbeam including a G4 (now a 7 pointer). Wife says I have too many on the wall so guess this one is getting the Euro mount treatment and going into the office.

Darn hogs create a hog wallow under my feeders, then instant lake when it rains a lot like last Friday. I know I could put up hog panels and stop that, but then I like to hunt them too.
