In your area he could be a 5yr old but for me the 5 and 7 yr olds look similar early before the rut. Pretty tight skinned for a 7 yr old though. He does not have very large or stained tarsal glands either..more of a 5 yr old. Not showing signs of callused knees or knobby knees that 7+ show either. He has a smooth back on top of the shoulders that a 5 yr old would have, a 7 yr old would show a "bull hump" more over his shoulders. He looks a little better than 135 to me...more upper 130's depending on spread. His beams look pretty long and spread looks a bit wider also. My first add up got 141 though.

Hard picture to age but I think his loose skin and butt shape puts him older at 7, but knees 5. Think he is mid 30’s

Nice 8 bill, we have a 10 we've been watching since 3 and now 6 but this new one stood out as looking older. I'll try and get some more pics. That's why I asked because these new shows are cool to try and figure out. thanks

Different states call them different things. In texas that would be an 8 pt, but in Mississippi or Virginia it would be called a 4 pt. Same thing, different terminology

Age wise he looks like a 5 or 6 year old to me albeit very large bodied.

Angle of pic is probably the worst that could be offered with respect to judging antler score, but I'd 'hazard' a guess at mid 30's.

A frontal and side view would be very helpful. Regardless, nice buck.

If I had no history I would guess him at 6.......140+ on score.....very nice 8.......

I am not seeing the calluses but think that is just dark hair on his knees. I also am seeing him being much wider than he appears at this angle. I think he around 19" inside more or less....maybe even just over 20"...he appears to have a large space from ear tip to inside of mainbeam on this right side.
