I enjoy hunting and eating squirrels, but hate cleaning them. What’s the trick to getting their skin off? I swear it’s super glued on

Easiest way for me is to cut a slit between their shoulders, stick your fingers under the hide and pull it off. Easier when they are still warm. Still a pita sometimes.

Red squirrels are much more of a pain to skin.
