Yep. When I lived in Oak Point, I had a pair of Road Runners that followed me around when I cut the grass.

My chickens are the same way. I have a hard time not running over them. They are hoping I am going to stir up some insects I suppose.

Me too. They like the smooth lawn to see if my tomatoes are getting ripe so they can peck holes in them. Never see them in my yard until tomatoe season.

When I mowed my costal fields to clean them up the hawks would follow and pick off rabbits, snakes and rats.

Yeah I shredded my 25 acres last week and there were 10-15 birds (not sure what kind - looked like sparrows of some sort) that were all over me - they were swooping down everywhere I went = pretty cool
