San Saba County Buck Down!!!

Saw this guy just a couple of times on the game cam. We thought he was a goner after hearing shots from nearby neighbors opening weekend. Took a couple of days off before Thanksgiving and this guy decided to come strolling in! Super excited that I got a shot at him! Will make some great fried backstrap and sausage!

Are you thinking the buck in the 2014 picture is the same as the one you've recently harvested? If so, that'd make him 8-9 years old, not sure I'm seeing that. Great buck, could very well have been a descendant of that 2014 buck.
