If he'd bent over just a bit more, you could see his name between his cheeks. That's what I think about him.

I'll agree that it's totally disrespectful to the animal, but I'd also bet that he is a local. I doubt many would spend the time and money to go hunt red stags in New Zealand and then pull a stunt like that!

no biggie. All is good. I just didn't want people to think I was ok with what the guy did or that I was in any way defending him. Apology accepted now post some pics of some giant bucks for us to all drool over. Haha

Really? Why would you do that when you worked so hard (or maybe not in his case) on shooting such a nice trophy? For me it is disrespectful, to the Animal, other hunters and to God.
