That's a solid hill country buck right there. What a treat to have that roaming in your yard.. I don't think my boys would ever come back inside if we had deer in the yard..

What county is this in? I hunt Gillespie out on the Willow City Loop. Mighty fine buck.

At home, in NNW Bexar county; not too many places over just a few acres in my area, but I'm afraid that won't stop some idiot from trying to stick him with an arrow. He's starting to get to the size that some redneck just has to have him, no matter what. We have neighbors down the street that have had trouble with people poaching, and even erecting a blind, on their utility easement. Some folks think (incorrectly) that no one owns a utility easement.

The two biggest sheds I've ever found were right here at the house; maybe this guy's. Gonna be looking hard next spring for sheds.

Very nice. I wish I had them in my yard like that. It would be so nice seeing them hang out and know that they where safe. I'd drive hundreds of miles to shoot one like that, but wouldn't even consider harming him.
