Coleman is looking good! - 07/10/16 04:47 PM
Made a quick trip to the lease yesterday to pay the first half of our money and fill some feeders. This is the first time I've been out there in close to three months and man it's looking good! Ponds are full, sunflower is ready for September 1st, and everything is grown up like crazy. We've Definetly got some cutting and cleaning to do next month. It was a long day with about 5,000 pounds of feed put out but a hard day at the lease is better than an easy day on the couch! Took a few pics while we were there!
Pond close to camp, this is a killer little duck hole when it's cool out!
One of the smaller ponds. If you look closely there is a feeder back there. Last season that thing stuck out like a sore thumb, the rain has done us some good!
Sunflower field coming up pretty good, the countdown to dove season has started boys and girls!
New stand finally set up and in place!
View from the new stand. I would have taken a pic of the feeder but you won't be able to see anything until we do some serious cutting!
Lastly, a pic of Amos, my new heeler/collie pup. This was her first trip to the lease and I wasn't sure how she was going to do. She ended up loving riding on the four wheeler... So much so that when we would get off she would look at me like "I'll just wait here..."
Hope everyone enjoyed a few pics. The time is coming y'all, I'm ready!!
