2014 Deer Hunting Nickname

In north Texas, once the oak nuts began to fall, deer all but vanished from feeders and wheat fields.
2014 will long be remembered as the "Year of the Acorn".

Totally agree.

X2...Last week-end you could see where the hogs had rooted up the ground under a lot of oak trees. Maybe that is a sign the acorns are about gone.
