Early explorers call it dry, desolate, waterless, uninhabitable or just plain worthless. We call it the Comancheria or"HOME"
The video is IMO the best ever and this music by one of the native sons is too.

By freak chance I shared a goose hunt with Mr. Meinzer back in 99. He is a hell of a story teller as well. Texan in the truest sense of the word.

I guess I can call Wyman my neighbor since our ranch is near Benjamin. We have waived when passing in town, but never had a chance to meet him yet. A buddy of mine's father-in-law is an acquaintance of his and had the opportunity to hunt with him a few times. I love his work.

He really is an interesting person. Lives in Benjamin which is not far from Munday where I grew up.

Great post. Have seen this before but never get tired of watching it. I hunt this country and this reminds me of how lucky I am to do so. Love his work. cheers
