She wanted a fire.

She wanted a fire. - 11/26/14 05:40 AM

Been doing some fence/gate work at the ranch and my youngest wanted to help out. But we forgot her jacket and she started to get cold so we gathered up some sticks and limbs and got a fire going. She's 6 and will work her butt off to help out daddy, she did a damn good job espcially with the shovel. Unfortunately she was out cold before dinner mama wasn't happy with that crazy.

Remember those days well. Wish we had digital cameras back in the 70's.

Missing one meal, pales in comparison to a day out working with dad up In 20 years, that photo with here and the fire will bring back great memories and maybe a tear, they grow so darn fast,

I know project take longer with kids "helping" but that is time well spent. I wish more parents would invest time with their kids. Blessings to you and yours.

Doesn't get any better then that. Good job TK. I'd gladly skip a meal to hang out around the fire with my Dad.

Fire is a great baby sitter. I have half a baseball team of 16 year olds at my house a lot of times and when they get rowdy I go out and start a fire in the fire pit and they sit and watch it. I don't get it they get calm and just stare at the flames.

Nice fire there too.
