No Coyote was injured during this filming - 10/23/14 03:05 AM

Photobucket

Video I took 3-4 years ago after some redneck rigging of the camera on my gun (that falls off after 2nd shot). This was the first call of the morning. While calling I looked down the hill and it was making a bee line for me. Tried to make it stop but never did. Missed both times. Oh well. Hopefully it post the video from photobucket.

Looks like the makings of a scary movie, and it doesn't look like it went too well for you! Shots going off, camera falling to the ground, live coyote at point blank range. Just need some sort of red blood effect to seep across the screen at the last frames.

maybe the camera angle is fooling me, but it looks like you could have killed him with a blow dart as close as he was....

I agree. A blood flow across the final frame would be great!

Still shot from the video. 15-20 feet away, all I saw in the scope was fur and guessing shot under it. Had a many coyotes and cats within 5-10 feet away. Need to invest in good recorder.

Dang dude. Either you are a good caller or he was really hungry.

I would like to think a decent caller. Started out with Weems All Call and worked up to open reed callers.
Still like to use hand calls but do carry electronic if can't get them in.
