Battle of the mosquitos....

I went 17 days straight without seeing a hog I even put corn out which I rarely do and still nothing.... It was frustrating as hell and to make the situation worst the Mosquitos where out in record breaking numbers. Every time I stopped I will receive a dozen bites even with 98% deets on, I'm guessing the recent floods pushed the pigs out and also created a huge breeding ground for these ginormous mosquitos! Anyways long story short around 1am last I had this single boar walk right at me I laid down with the bipod out and the M1A did the rest. I spotted another one later but he was weaving in and out of the corps property and I couldn't sit still with the bites so he got a pass.

What was the final total on dead mosquitos?

Lol I have no idea but I look like a crackhead scratching my face, neck and back it sucks!

Well at least it wasn't a wash; nice pig!... The mosquitos are plentiful this year. I have to quit working in my knife shop in the evenings. I spay on mosquito spray and they come and bathe in it, I think they are getting immune to deet!

Loving the rifle man I was drilling a 10" plate with some good accuracy at 200yds Sunday and that's with a 1-4 scope.

We use the mequito dunks around the house, sure helps, but they still come i from the "woods". I cn imagine how bad they are out night hunting, been there done that. They say only female mosquitoes bite humans, darn "ho's"

No. We saw some deer. I shot at a small coyote or fox from about 15 yards. I think I shot under him I was so close.

That is the cleanest, smoothest coat on a hog I've ever seen.

He isn't looking so good now......... I shot at one in the same pasture last night I either wounded him or missed I couldn't even get a follow up shot the brush on the fence line is so damn thick!

I've been at it all week bud I hit a big one Thursday night but couldn't track him in the corps property, came up on a big group Friday night and some how they busted me and the damn wind was in my face! I stayed out til the sun came up and this is what they where doing when they spooked... It's just a matter of time now I might have to get the pipes out!
