Damascus Arrow Head ** More Added**

Had some time to work in the shop. I worked on knives and on some arrow head orders. This is one of them. This is a piece of Alabama Damascus with a couple layers of clear lacquer to help with oxidation. It has some copper coloring from the wire I used to etch it. Looks cool.

We got one from him a while back. My wife loves hers....used a strip of leather died black and the bead off a pair of safety glasses so she can adjust it to what she is wearing.

To pull the leather thru take nylon string and pinch a loop, push the loop thru the eye of the arrowhead. Then string the leather thru the nylon loop so that the middle of the leather strip is in the loop. Then you pull the loop back thru pulling the leather thru. Pull a leather loop large enough to go around the point of the arrowhead then pull the slack out of the loop so the leather is around the neck. Last trim the ends to the same length and feed thru the bead.

how did you get the copper color in it?

I used a copper hangar when I etched the steel. It dissolves and stained the pendant.
