Took my 300WM out to 600 - 07/28/14 03:09 PM
Went out to a buddies ranch in Caldwell to do some shooting. So far I have only been able to test my reloads at 300 yards, and I was able to shoot 5 shots under a dime. I wanted to take it a little further and see how it did at 600, and I was pretty pleased. We were shooting in mild wind, somewhere between 5 and 8 mph. The target is on a round bale in the row of bales that is in the center of the little red circle I drew on the picture. The row of bales is slightly angled back to the left. The group measured 2.39". Rifle is a custom 300WM running my reloads.

Nice group. That will hit any animal you shoot at.

Sounds like an awesome built, who put it together?

It was built by a very good friend of mine and myself. He doesn't build guns for a living, just for close friends and family. He builds some extremely nice rifles, and building them with him is a lot of fun and a great learning experience. It is my favorite rifle by far.
