I have built a couple from the ground up, but honestly can't compete with the guys that do it daily. They are notorious for not responded and taking longer than they say...so there have been a few willing to pay a little extra grin I am more set up for the sheet metal work and metal roofs, not the metal structure but can get it done.

Figure Guttit could take care of it or know someone in the area. Might check with Sniper also.

Take a look at Whirlwind. We're in half of a 50x200 building they built. It's seems very solid and well insulated. They've been around for a long time with a very good reputation as they've grown.

Trophy/Living area we haven't worked out the exacts on ceiling height making some changes to plans but 18' to 20' ceilings and 33' x 20'

Got home yesterday and baled about 200 coastal bales and put them up in the barn.........got in the house at 10:00. Damn 4' rattlesnake I missed killing about 7pm when I started baling had me real nervouse working in the field after dark!!!! eeks333

Finally got soil sample back and to engineers should have it back from them by Friday and we can start setting forms for slab soon, supposed to start work on the shop tomorrow. It takes for ever to get everything going but hopefully be rolling good soon.

It's fun but still makes me nervous, shop is 30x40 should start it today and framing starts soon it is stressful for sure

Got to love the smell of fresh steel and pine in the morning up Bet the wife is busy with the paint colors and window treatments, a joint stress I'm sure. Looking great, but bet you cant wait to turn the door knob!

What kind of insulation you plan on using? May I recommend wiring for anything imaginable and using the spray insulation? Talk about tight as a drum but if it aint wired beforehand, you're screwed.

They are throwing the sticks up again today. It is amazing to me to watch them walking across 2x4 and 2x6's that high carrying boards. I wouldn't make it 5 mins.

Yeah may not hunt much this year at least til complete you almost have to be available everyday seems like something comes up daily. Cabinets are almost ready, been shopping with the boss (wife) for granite, paint, fixtures, flooring, tile, marble and getting permit for septic tank installation never ends just ready to get done, we have had aoudad and elk show up on lease this year. Just gotta finish the house before I can worry about hunting too much

My brother is a builder so we are working together. They start trimming Monday since cabinets finally made it.

Cabinets are always slow. Knotty alder is about all I ever installed as a builder should look great.
