Neat last day of deer season - 01/29/13 08:19 PM
took my nephew out on the last day of youth season and we had a pretty cool visitor. Hadn't seen these is a while on my place maybe they will populate. Was taken in Hunt County about 200yrds off sabine river. Don't know anything about turkeys can anyone tell which ones these are?

Those look like they might be EASTERNS, I don't think they are Rio's.

I think the darker coloration and range would pin them as Easterns.

Eastern. I have a few on my place, very few. I am going to try and let them grow in population. Besides , I have plenty on my ranch in Tolar. I have killed a couple every year. Chicken fried with black pepper cream gravy.
