I've tangled with a coon before. That little buck would have to have his hoof in the triggerguard of a 12 ga. to have a snowball's chance in hell...
Seriously, in H/S, my buddy got the bright idea to take his pet coon, Stinky, to the free FFA vaccination clinic, and walked into a barn full of dogs carrying a 12 lb. bundle of teeth and razor-sharp claws amped up on a combination of steroids and speed. Poor guy never stood a chance-he was shredded in a matter of seconds and it took us three days to get Stinky out of the walls of the ag barn.
FWIW, if you ever have ahold of a coon that wants to go somewhere else-let him go.......
