good weight on deer

I know he isnt the biggest buck, but look at his body weight. Almost looks like he is rutted up. Funny how we are coming out of one of the biggest drought in history and the deer are looking so healthy....

I could see it if we were protien feeding but we did not get it out this year. All just natural forage. I guess this oak country is just paying off....

This one was off natural browse too. And was last year durring the drought. The strong/smart ones find a way
