Man it sure sounds like a lot of you "guys" have an inny down there in yer drawers. I can understand freaking out about rattlers and others that are actually dangerous but, the non venomous and small constrictor types aren't gonna do any damage ain't nothing to be scared of. I'll let y'all know the next time I catch like a corral snake.
Until positively identified, any green snake is presumed to be a green mamba. Black snakes are black mambas. All others are tentatively identified as African spitting copper headed rattle moccasins, pending necropsy. That's just how it goes.
I think burning the building down for a snake is a little extreme. I only burn the joint down for spiders. As far as I'm concerned, there are only 2 types of spiders. Black ones are black widows, brown ones are brown recluse, and they all must DIE. Birds and lizards can eat the insects or I can use bug spray. No need for spiders at my place.
