DSS/Morgan appreciation thread - 04/30/12 03:00 PM

In a time when it seems like we have more complaints then accolades about companies we deal with, I'd like to give a shout out to a good one.
Dallas Shooting Supplies/Morgan deserves some praise from me.

I was looking to buy my first AR15 a while back, after a fair amount of research and checking, I contacted Morgan to see about having him build me one. I had a TON of questions and he took the time to answer each and every one of them to my satisfaction. I had to start a second PM with him because my first one finally hit 100 replies and was maxed out.

I was very particular and explained this to him from the onset.
I told him I would demand a rifle capable of shooting 1" or less groups at 100 yards. He explained with the right components that was a doable request. He put together an AR for me that has met and exceeded my expectations.
Spikes tactical lower, match trigger, CMMG upper, Troy free float rail and a Leupold 3 X 9 AR scope.

A few pics of the final product.
Sorry for the pic quality, but all I had was my cell phone this weekend.

This was the group I shot at my new range this past Saturday.
To say I'm pleased with my dealing with DSS/Morgan would be an understatement. Kudos to Morgan for providing a superior product and top notch customer service.

For reference, that's a 1" orange dot.

Thanks everyone, I really do enjoy shooting this gun.

RWH, the barrel is a 16" CMMG 5.56 WASP with a 1:9 twist.
The flashlight is a Surefire KX4 in some 1" rings.
