Can't believe it's been a year

Here are some pics I took of my brother's grave site. It was a tough day but when we put the fresh flowers on the grave and let my nieces 2 and 4 let their balloons go, that they had written their "I love you daddy" notes on, it reminded me that he is in a much greater place.

That definitely got me teary eyed especially seeing your neices. I have three daughters all under 4 and am a brother in arms. I can't imagine what it's been like but his sacrifice is not in vain. May God continue to be with you and the rest of your family and may your brother rest in peace as he watches over his princesses with our heavenly father.

Rest in peace my friend from one Soldier to another!!! May god continue to look over him up there!! I hope your pain is in some way lessened by the ability to be able to visit his grave. I am still haunted to this day by my plt sgt who passed and i still cant visit his grave!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Time to grab the Kleenex box, the pic of the girls just really hits me as I just had my first baby girl last november. He's the greatest hero in my book and all who have and are serving. God bless you and all your family.
