2 bobcats down.

Was hunting near my pond and a bobcat came out. I had lost some chickens lately, so decided to blame this cat. Shot it and it fell and another cat came out and looked at the first one. Shot it and it fell over and crawled away. I shot a third shot into the brush, but didn't hit anything with it. Love the AR in 308.

No I shot them from my deer stand, which is only about 200 yards away.

It is his going rate, he has the best prices I can find. He is down in Huntsville and does real good work.

He has great reviews. Most of the people I know here use him. He did a great job on my wife's deer. Better than the job a guy did on my deer at a much higher price. Will have to look around his shop more if I drop them off.

He have a web site? Cats are tough very few taxi's do good cats, and picking the form on cat can even make a good taxi's work suck if you pick a bad form

Even some of the good taxi's that post pics of their cats here, still do eyes bad and have yet to see one here that get the ears right they all look bat eared, if they would drill out the top of head where ears set they could sink em and not have look so bat eared. Just sayin ......

Not sure. Will ask my wife and let you know. She is the one that dropped off her deer head to him. I have never been to his shop. He just came highly recommended from everyone that lives near me.

Cats are one of the toughest by what I see mounted, and again picking a form is a big part of having a nice cat, there are soooooo many different forms and alot of them suck!
My taxi changes out almost every head on a cat.

Just look he may do good cats and his location or lack of work keeps his price down but if he does good cats for $400 that is a steal!

Work is very inconsistent some look good some look horrible on the deer, on the cats I would not be happy with at all, one looked ok the rest not good, almost like same person not doing all the work. Just my .02. The deer you got back is better than most on his website.

Hit the nail on the head. I'm no expert but it looks like a big problem with the eyes on some of the deer and the cat's do look strange, the first one looks really bad to me.

Have to agree with BMD. Cats are a different deal. The guy you are looking at has good looking deer mounts but not 100% sold on the cats. I shopped around about 8 years ago and $650 was the best I could do on one from a taxi that had a good rep for cats, where I could actually look at a good number that he was turning out (not just the ones that made it into his gallery). I'd consider looking a bit more just because you have an opportunity to do something really unique with the pair taken together, not just a boiler plate mount.

Haven't shot any this year. Only buck down is the one I shot, been a little slow. Saw a really nice buck out in the rain when I was driving around over Thanksgiving but hardly anything while hunting. Food plots are looking good so hopefully it will pick up after the rut. Saw a great buck tending a doe right by 45 outside of Huntsville on my way home!

I got corn building up on my feeders had to cut them back to 1 second. Only ones I am seeing are walking across my gas pipeline.

Yep, too many acorns, haven't even bothered hunting over corn, hell the hogs aren't even hitting it! Trying to get up this next weekend, will give you a call if I do.
