Very cool! One of my bird dogs carries a serious grudge toward porkys. That chip on the shoulder is a major PIA.

Leucism
Leucism is a wide variety of conditions that result in the partial loss of pigmentation in an animal—causing white, pale, or patchy coloration of the skin, hair, feathers, scales, or cuticles, but not the eyes. It is occasionally spelled leukism.

They seem to be addicted to the corn, show up nightly. My plan is to turn the feeder off and bait 2 live traps. If someone is interested in the white one send me a pm.

I am surprised nobody asked how porcupines mate? Standard answer is very carefully!

I bet it is. I’ve seen some horrible pictures over the years. Knock on wood I’ve never come across one with any of my dogs.

Not to throw shade on the post, but that is probably glare from the camera as you'll notice the deer also looks white in the photo.

I understand your thought process but I have pics of it as it shows up almost every night. I have no doubts it’s white/blonde

We got a picture of a porcupine from our place in Coleman County last week, the first we have seen since buying the place in 2019.
