They're scouting something out and my guess would be some kind of work related activity but man that looks like an odd crew. If its your land I would definitely find out, but if its not your own land...I would contact the landowner.

If you own the land take the pics to your local sheriff, if you do not own the land, talk to the land owner.

Last pic looks like an aerial map like the ones I use to use for scouting. Its some sort of survey crew is my guess.

They're not dressed in work clothes, but who knows. Interesting pic. I once scouted a large property in shorts and flip flops, wanted to buy a piece of it. Didn't realize my legs were bleeding until I knocked on the owners house to make a deal. He asked why I was bleeding, so I told him. He asked why I was trespassing on his property, I said I'm not Sir you don't own the property yet...had done my research....but I want to buy this particular piece of ground right here.....he said "damn Son, you really want that plot don't you?" Today if I would have had pics of me then walking that ground I would have raised an eye brow for sure.

I bet the guy with the map is showing them where to hang their deer stands on the property he just leased them to hunt on.

I bet it is the other way around, some locals are probably scam leasing out someone else's(absentee landowner) property to the gringos and handed them a map. Anderson Cooper is trying to GPS the property lines before paying the lease fee. Trespassing is a just a NE Texas daily thing.

Interesting but OP only asked if anyone knew them? Never said why he was interested, never said anything about trespassing or poaching, didn't see any firearms, none of them carrying cutters? Curious as to why everyone is trying to guess what they are doing.

Those are dark. Like African dark. Id call the police on the high yellow and the others. May be timber thieves. I have caught some.
