Live Search Maps Bird's Eye for Scouting - 04/02/09 09:31 PM

Not sure if anyone has ever posted any information on this but there are some really great images when using this website. They do not have the "Bird's Eye" everywhere yet but this is a shot of the Ray Roberts boat launch at 377 in Tioga. Its been a great scouting tool for me....

Thanks! This really helps me out. I am headed out this weekend to do a little scouting and turkey hunting at the new place.

That is a good site, but the aerial view is not that current. The one of my house is from Jan '07. Not sure the bird's eye is that much more current for my area.

I just like the low angle shot. You can also spin it around to get a view from a different direction. I hope they finally get an update way out in the boonies where I hunt.

www.findlakes.com is another one, but has not been updated around my hunting area. (Has been clearcut for 2.5 yrs and still showing trees.....same thing on Google Earth)

We have 2008 aerials that are better and newer than Google or MSN covering all of Texas. www.thirdeyemaps.com
