Today is the first day I've noticed acorns falling. Fall is here.

Same here, thought about getting a photo, but left my phone at the house. They aren't huge, but sure look to be in great shape for the deer.

Saw them falling last week-end.......and it did rain.
I have an oak that put out acorns the size of pecans last year. This year they are little, about marble size.

I was able to get out to the lease for a couple days last week, and the acorns were falling in Mills county too.
Yep - it rained

My oaks in my front yard are dropping acorns. I was standing next to one this morning talking to my neighbor and they were constantly falling.
I wonder if I can gather them up and take them to my lease and use them to draw in deer. Make a acorn food pile.
Well, deer activity on camera has dropped off considerably with all the acorns falling now.
We need a big rain & a hard freeze, to rot the acorns on the ground.

You can take them with you but since it is not a reoccurring event like them falling off the tree they will just eat them when they find them. I have few to none at my place so not really an issue.
