Im new to the forum and would like to say hi to everyone and tell you all a lil about myself. I've been in Tex. since 1980, moved here from a lil town near Robbers Cave state park in Okla. Married 31yrs. 2 daughters both married, 2 grand kids and another on the way. I retired in 09 and have been trying to catch up ever since, I really enjoy hunting, mostly deer, turkey,dove,quail,ducks, and hogs. I do a lil fishing during the summer. I also do a lil camping and enjoy dutch oven and campfire cooking. Im glad to be here and Im looking forward to shootin the breeze with you fella's..
Well just come on in and pull up a stool! You have to furnish your own popcorn during the shows.......

Welcome Bubba. Pull up a chair and buckle up. Robbers cave is a beautiful place. An old gal friend of mine had 100 acres near there, McCurtain cty I believe. Lots of wildlife too. I never hunted that area though. At the time OKLA had only a 2 week general gun season, just couldn't get up there.

Also...you have to supply the hip waders from time to time...gets a bit deep sometimes...

Welcome, I'm new as well. Love this site. Live in Murphy, grew up in Oak Cliff. Married 32 years, two daughters; One a senior at UT in Austin, the other a freshman at Texas State. Been hunting and fishing my whole life, most of my time spent hunting deer, followed by dove, fishing, camping. Currently hunt in southern Dickens county on 10k acres of the Pitchfork Ranch. Next year will be my seventh year to hunt there.
