I know what both of you are saying but follow my train of thought. If the "the wrong people" get their way we will have to register EVERYTHING gun related.

theres gonna be a day in this country when (no us probly kids or grandkids or even greatgrandkids) are gonna need our right to bare arms to take our own country back...i feel the goverment is trying to cater to the minoraty(not being racial by minoraty i mean like the few that dont believe in God and the right to bare arms, or that wont fight for there country but burn our flag) of the county and not the majoraty and that really ticks me off something real bad...

There are a few things I’d like to get before 2009. I’d like to say I could afford a Barrett .50BMG but I’m being realistic. A decent reloading setup is a must and is something that even before this increase in ammo prices I’d been meaning to buy. Magazines are another item on my list to buy I’m planning to buy magazines for gun’s I don’t own yet. I’ve been shooing my .22lr more and more lately and hording centerfire ammo. I also want another M1 Garand and Carbine.

The liberals believe that the Right "to Bare Arms" is an archaic concept from the revolutionary times and doesn't apply to our modern "civilized" time!!! I am reminded of a quote from Nikita Kruschev that "it would be foolish to attack America because private citizens are allowed to own guns". I hate to see the direction we are going in America today!!! It seems we are headed toward a socialized society!!!

i'm not trying to stick up for any canidate or their voting records, but it's hard to judge them from the voting record. The way the bills are put together with all the "piggie backing". For instance, if the liberals want something passed they know usually wouldn't pass alone they throw it into a war funding bill. We will give you 275 billion for the war, but we added a line that gives us 38 billion for whatever.

Then there is the voting for absent members. I saw a piece on 20 /20 or some other news show where represenatives were voting 2 or more times. They would cast thier own vote and cast a vote for absent members.

but like i said at the top, I'm not backing any of these canidates. I have my opinion, but i make sure not to discuss politics or religious beliefs on public sites....it only gets things heated.

how about voting ron paul......... i thinks he talks more sense than any of the others....

I believe the Right "to Bare Arms" is only supported by people who cannot afford long sleeves
