Good for her. Didnt see Africas big 5 in there though so I still think she has a ways to go before she can top Kendall Jones.

Not really. The only thing you nead for a slam of any kind is $$$$$$$$$. I'm sure they hunt the best places in the country where guides do most of the work. No accomplishment at all IMO, fenced or not.

Hell if you or I had the money we would be all over that. Your jealousy doesn't take away from her accomplishments.

My buddy just completed his slam, he said if it was up to the guides he would have shot dinks, but he ended up dragging out the hunts for the full length to shoot book quality rams.

Wrong on both accounts. I could care less about taking a slam of anything. I have enough money to do it, but have no interest. I'm not rich by any means, but if I had a ton of money, I still wouldn't do it. Jealous, are you freaking kidding me. That made me laugh. Look, I'm not knocking the girl for hunting, I'm all for the youth getting out and hunting, but it's not really an accomplishment when everything is given to you.

Re: Deadliest Huntress Alive With The Taxidermy - 12/16/11 07:14 PM

I also know that not all guided hunts are easy or guaranteed. I also know if you go to certain places it's absolutely necessary to hire a guide. I guess I was kind of turned off by the title of the thread and the fact that the girl seems to now think that it is her profession to hunt. I guess if you have the money and want someone else to show you where the game is, then rock on. BTW, I'm not knocking anyone who uses a guide service. If I did have the kind of money this man obviously has, I sure as hell wouldn't be going on guided hunts. I would by my own slice of heaven to hunt.

Re: Deadliest Huntress Alive With The Taxidermy - 12/16/11 07:26 PM

usually no, but depends on what that family is into..EX: some folks can go do a 20K trophy hunt, film it, produce it and broker clients out to those places and make 20-40K.

[quote=mideon2000]he is not jealous, he is just hatin lol. [/quote

Not jealous or hating anyone. I have plenty places to hunt and plenty of game to hunt. No reason to be jealous or hate someone because they have enough money to hunt where they want. All I said it's just not that much of an accomplishment if you pay people everytime you go hunting to put you on the game. I also think it's rediculous for a 15 yr old to now think she is a professional hunter because daddy has taken her all over the world. Life is too short for jealousy and hate.

I'll admit that I'm jealous. When I was 15 I was trying to plink birds with a BB gun. The only slam I had a chance at was the special at Denny's.

Re: Deadliest Huntress Alive With The Taxidermy - 12/17/11 01:27 PM

going all over the world and accomplishing what she set out to do, guides or no guides that sounds like a professional to me. No different than when a hunter on their tv show goes on a hunt to some of the best places to hunt and are joined by guides at times. Anyway i am through with this thread, i don't hang around jealous people anyway stir

Re: Deadliest Huntress Alive With The Taxidermy - 12/17/11 06:08 PM

She took them all freerange I don't think getting a sheep slam is possible behind high fence. to any one that has doubts go on 4 sheep hunts in a year. She's pretty bad [censored] and has completed her slam a year ago. She took a mtn goat, moose, and grizzly in October and is hunting mtnlions right now.

Re: Deadliest Huntress Alive With The Taxidermy - 12/17/11 06:14 PM

I would guess having sponsors would ussually make you a profesional. How many of you have done 4 sheep hunts in a year? Yeah thought so go spend 40 days in the mountains then post your coments on how easy it is.

Re: Deadliest Huntress Alive With The Taxidermy - 12/17/11 09:56 PM
