Irritated when people ask this question....

Alright I know that this is completely stupid and should not bother me at all but it does and I just cant stand it!! Does anyone else get fed up and irritated when they see people asking for others to age and score a deer from a picture??? I know its horrible of me for this but I mean come on! Be for real here! Sorry for this but I just had to get it off my chest.

Just dont click on em if it bothers you. Life is to short to worry about stuff like that!

Im new to hunting, so a person like myself may not know any better and just wants to learn. But now that you bring it up, help me understand what is wrong with the question? Is not possible to estimate from a picture?

I do not think score, age, or fence height should ever be brought up on the forum unless made by the OP. Otherwise it 99% of the time turns into a huge disaster.

It gets old. Everyone knows all deer are 3 1/2 years old and score 110-130s.

I personally like the posts of age and score requests. My opinion if you can get proficient at it and they update it with the correct age and score if they take it, it just gives you a leg up on judging deer that show up on your game cameras. To each their own though.

As deer hunters, we're always focused on the racks....acks..ks.

it makes me realise no one knows how to age a damn deer thats for sure, you get anywhere from 1.5 to 5.5 for the same deer

I'm guessing 5.8 122 on the hoof. Rack is definitely not genetic, it has been altered. Having trouble with age..arm is in the way could be anywhere from late 20's to mid 30's. Regardless I'd pull the trigger and roll her in the dirt.

Tires still have good tread on'em, no rust, nothing runs like a deer. If I had one of them I'd use my dipstick every day & take real good care of it so it'd last forever
