Got some new shoes....

Got some new shoes.... - 04/20/24 04:19 PM

We run around barefoot or in socks inside our house. It seems like I'm constantly slipping my shoes off-n-on at the door & I must be getting old & tired because sometimes it really seems like a chore to bend over to pull my shoes on. I've been seeing these Skechers slip-in shoes on TV so I decided to try a pair. Best thing since sliced bread! I luv'em!! Just FYI....

Have some Skechers very similar to those, lightweight, comfortable, look good, easy to put on and off, won't buy anything else now

I feel left out, I don’t own a pair of tennis shoes. Boots or flip flops.

If these aren’t included in the old man starter pack they are missing quite an opportunity roflmao

Me too.
Only if real muddy. Live in country and tile floors throughout, EZ cleanup.

Nope.

Anyone that lives where there is Red dirt/clay will have a pile of shoes at the front door.

Of course 'guests' are not expected to remove their shoes and some amount of day to day 'traffic' is expected, but if you want to keep your carpet unstained or just have less clean up (hardwood floors) leaving your shoes in the hallway goes a long way to that end.

I have bad feet and wear slip on Clarks. A pair for inside and a pair for outside.

Will wear my boots when I have to.

All I wear is sketchers, but some of their prices are getting out of hand. We also dont wear shoes in the house.

Do not wait until you get smarter and wise.

No zhit, hit the nail on the head. I walk a couple of miles a day in Brooks or New Balance. I have some NB 990V6 shoes being delivered by Amazon today.

My heels hurt on our non carpeted floors. Olukai is what I wear, from flips to golf shoes.

After suffering terrible foot problems, my podiatrist told me to stop walking around barefoot and by some Brooks running shoes. I did both and she also reworked my shoestrings and presto...haven't had to go back since!

Re: Got some new shoes.... - 04/23/24 01:30 AM

^^ I wear Brooks. As stated, they helped my plantar fasciitis.

Moped shoes, you shouldn’t let people know you wear them
