Heard these could be the next to go allocated with stupid prices and hard to find. Get them on your shelf while still available. I'm a lightweight and have to stick with my lower proof stuff but you pros would appreciate these higher proof bottles.

Penelope 15-YR. American Light Whiskey
Chattanooga Founders and Bottled In Bond
Sagamore 6-Year-Old Rye
Redemption 10 yr. Rye
Four Gate 8-year Klevin
Bardstown Discoverers #11
Peerless Double Oak
John T. Bowman Single Barrel

Don't think I've had a single drop of any of those.

All of this sounds delicious, I stopped drinking sadly.

Some are already hard to find. I have not found a John J. Bowman Single Barrel in over 2 years.

I guess I’ve come to the opposite conclusion of distilleries allocating stuff.

It just sends me to discovering other producers….of which there are a lot making really good stuff.

Why would I chase around trying to give someone my money. Look at the shelves….there is plenty of good hooch out there!

Chattanooga and Peerless are making some great whiskeys…

John J Bowman is great when you can find it.

It will be interesting to see what Penelope does in the next few years but, for right now like everything else on the list hard pass for me…

I agree. I am not somebody that "chases" bourbon, but when I come across allocated bourbons that I like, I certainly buy them as long as they are priced at MSRP.

Bourbons I enjoy and are fairly easy to find are Old Forester 1920, Old Forester 1910, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Early Times Bottled In Bond, Very Old Barton, Knob Creek 12, & Wild Turkey Rare Breed.

I hope nobody finds out about Very Old Barton like they did with Eagle Rare. I remember when those two were side by side on the bottom shelf.

You should checkout Ancient Age before it becomes hard to find.

The Penelope is good, as is most of their lineup.

The Bardstown #11 isn’t terribly hard to find unless they recently stopped producing it

Total Wine has some of these in stock

I dont drink much either. I enjoy watching YouTube videos and learning about the Whiskey business. I still don't taste Creme Brule when I sip it. confused2

If you REALLY want to "snob out" all you high rollers should check this Dallasites YouTube out VERY interesting!!!
