I ate those things years ago until I got a knarly piece of something in one and haven’t eaten one since. They were great up until they weren’t.

How do you eat the bones on that thing. I see the bones on the sandwich. I mean surely it's not meat that's been compressed into the form of bones. NO one in their right mind would do that, would they??!?!?!

TurkeyHunter posted a nice article that explains the process. It’s basically lips & [censored] pulverized together and then salted with water so the salt can extract meat proteins, and said proteins then act as the glue that binds the appetizing mix into any shape desired - in this case a “rib sammich” shape.

Lunch meat comes from the deli and is not tripe. I do not eat bologna or SPAM and the hot dogs I buy are all beef with no fillers. I am not adverse to trying new things. I have tried genuine menudo , etc. But disgusting can't be changed with sauce.

The BBQ sandwiches I have tried has mostly been on the road while fishing and stoping by BBQ shacks

I have Hutchins BBQ close to my house but I always get the ribs and brisket, it's pretty outstanding, and I think it like #1 ranked BBQ in the DFW area.

I love me some McRibs, it's on the menu for this week, for a fast food joint it makes a fantastic BBQ Sandwich.

I know one thing, our standards for quality food in this country have gone way done. It's amazing what people consider "good".

They even steam the buns like they do on a Filet Of Fish

Iam also a big fan of a Double Filet Of Fish

I have never tried one, seemed weird.

Filet of Fish is the one you skip for a year until it sounds good, get one, and realize why it's been a year since you tried one. Most of them cannot be chewed. One in ten is good though...meaning one per decade.

I am lucky, we have a McDonalds on Preston that is alway on point, Food is always fresh and hot and they never mess up the order.

I get the double filet of fish and toss the top bun, The Filet Of Fish at my McDonalds are crisp and the fish is succulent

There are two other McDonalds in the area and they don't compare to the food quality and freshness

I will eat a MacDouble no Pickles, McRib and Double Filet of Fish.

Next month for Christmas they have the Holiday Fried pies at McDonalds, those things are a treat.

My FIL is in a rehab/nursing home and I was just sitting with him when they brought in supper tonight, the meat was a McRib patty with bbq sauce on it. He thought it was real tasty. lol

I just tried a new Thai place in Katy this week since I'm there again for a bit, been there 3 times in 4 days already I love Thai food.

A robot delivered the meal to my table, and then a server placed my meal on the table in front of me with a big smile. Well, that was different but actually pretty cool to see the robot work serving other tables when things got busy.

The food was delicious, REALLY good.

Sorry, It ain't McDonald's.

My wife picked up some Spicy Miso Ramen yesterday from the Asian Food Court in Plano, it was pretty good.
