Adults Only Resort - 08/01/23 07:31 PM

any suggestions on where to go that a passport isn't required and I don't have to sell my house to afford it? Preferably a beach with nice water but open to other places as well...just looking for suggestions that maybe i haven't thought of.

I've stayed here in Maui. It's nice, and affordable for Hawaii.

We stayed here previously....no kids, all-inclusive, very quiet and relaxing, was pretty nice.

Those bungalows look so close I would be scared of the neighbors walls falling in....

I prefer a little more privacy than that.

How was the noise level at night Doc? I would imagine it could get pretty sporty in a place like that

Re: Adults Only Resort - 08/01/23 10:21 PM

You know, it really wasn't bad at all. I don't recall hearing much "sportiness"....it was a pretty low key, classy place so not much partying at all. It was more of a nicer crowd, so not your typical resort atmosphere, at least when we were there. We had a little private cabana near the shoreline we would lounge in most of the day and just drink, read, and relax. At our bungalow you could hear folks if you were in the outside shower or bathtub, but overall we didn't feel like it was intrusive.

Plus lunch, dinner, and drinks. That is not an all inclusive.

Yea, I should have checked prices before I put that up. I'm not sure what we gave a few years ago, but it was much less than half that.

I do have the most ideas come to me when I'm nekid, but that's only in the shower.

'Told the wife that every day I look in the mirror I just see a fat, old man and that I could really use a compliment. She said "Well, your eyesight is darn-near perfect!"

I'm sure there's people on here who have been. You might be surprised at the wide variety of people who are into such things.

I worked with a man years back that had just moved
here from one of the cold NE states.
For whatever reason we were talking about mowing
and I was talking about running over bullnettles with
the tractor and shredder, and he chimed in about
he would have to mow soon, but he didn't have a
a large enough place to warrant a tractor, but used
a large lawn tractor like used to be common before
all the ZT's. He also was quick to add that he would
only have to rinse off with the garden hose, because
he would be mowing nude, having moved to a
nudist colony. I chimed in about chiggers, which he
had never heard of, and the conversation went in
another direction. I never heard any outcome of
mowing at his new home nekkid, but I imagine that
the chiggers thought it was christmas with all
the skin to chew on. No word about bullnettles either

my wife worked with a woman who went with a group to Hedonism in Jamaica..she told the girls at work she had no idea what it was about or anything....I called BS on that and so did my wife.

There are a lot of people out there that do weird things in their private lives. I don't care, just try to involve me.

If you want some laughs go to the already mentioned Barehide Ranch (Poolville,Tx) website and look at the FAQ and rules. LOL

We just had some friends sell their place right down the road from it. It was one of the reasons they moved.

No cloths are allowed at the pool.

(This is under FAQ's-) "What happens if"

"We do not worry about it. Just don't knock stuff of the tables with it"

I went there once in the late 70's, unfortunately the ghey peeps were starting to overrun the place.
