Has anybody seen it?
It’s a topic that gets brushed under the rug way too much, kinda like Epstein suiciding himself.

Headed to see it tomorrow

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/15/23 02:28 AM
I haven’t, yet, but I will. Caviezal keeps proving himself as one of few decent people in the acting scene. He was vetted by Shawn Ryan, who also seems completely legit. The left is all up in arms about it, so it should be worth the time.

Hunter serving on the Ukrainian power company is another story that just petered over time, we've moved on LOL... wonder if there was any corruption there or now!!!

From what I’ve heard, this movie was tabled for 5 years due to democrat BS

My mom went and saw it this week. She said it was a hard topic, but one that needs to be discussed. She said it was a very good movie. I don't go to movies, so, no, I haven't seen it.

I've heard it brings an important issue to light and folks I have talked to said it is well done for the subject matter.
I suspect I'll wait until I can see it in my home. I'll just say the folks that traffic children (or any human for that matter) and bring harm to them deserve swift and harsh justice.

Good movie. Everyone should see it.

I'll pass I don't like depressing movies

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/15/23 01:41 PM
Saw it and recommend it to everyone.
SA, it isnt a depressing movie unless you are into child stuff. Its a hopeful movie.
Initially set to repeaase in 2018 thru 20th century fox, then merger/bought by disney and disney tabled the movie for years. The director or producer eventually bought the movie rights from disney and it was released thru angel studios.
I have my thoughts on why it was tabled by disney, and most of it is because hollyweird is full of pedos

The same thoughts as to why several movie theaters have been caught shutting the movie off, cranking up the heat, and just generally discouraging the viewing of the movie?

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/15/23 03:09 PM
I thought that The Sound of Freedom was a very good movie in that it had a plot, interesting characters, well acted, great cinematography and wasn't so predictable that I knew where it was going 5 minutes in.
Kinda like how good movies used to be.
Tough topic and a good story well told.

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/15/23 03:12 PM
Never heard of it...
Did watch "Parkland" for first time last night, a lot o0f well known actors, but it was like sitting thru a story for the 10,000th time, not very spectacular for us.

Amazing and moving!! One of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Very informative to something I just didn’t realize was such a huge issue. My wife had the waterworks on full blast!

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/16/23 05:44 PM
Talked the wife into seeing it this week.
I spent the early part of my career doing everything I could to push for more education on the subject since patrol officers likely came in contact with victims daily, but didn’t know the signs to look for. Departments only get interested when a big venue like the Super Bowl or NCAA playoffs come to town. Pumps literally travel with their girls and follow these large sporting events and large conferences.

Interesting you bring that up. I have an employee who was in the local modelling arena, and she was invited to be around when the superbowl came to DFW. She was told she would just be an attraction to the high rollers that show up. She read through the lines and figured out quickly that meant she was being pimped out to be an escort. She declined the offer and left the agency after that.

Will likely wait to see it at home. Annoys me when claims of left or right conspiracy surrounds something as simple as a movie. Rumors about democrats delaying movie for 5yrs, theaters intentionally closing or turning up heat are likely just a bunch if bs from both sides.

Don't murder me like you usually do, but why would anybody be up in arms about this movie being shown? Surely nobody thinks child trafficking is good.

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/16/23 10:05 PM
Being a victim of child abuse myself, I find it hard to watch movies like this one. I think it's good to get the truth out there, though, because things like this destroys the lives of people (children), and working through it becomes a life-long challenge.

A large part of society is attempting to force acceptance. Have you seen these disgusting drag shows and people taking kids to them. Gay pride celebrations now have grown men and children in attendance.
All this is straight grooming by the left. They refuse to call it out as wrong.

They do, actually, which is why they’re trying to hide the fact that it exists. The media is calling child trafficking a right wing conspiracy theory.

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/16/23 11:19 PM
Yeah i gotta agree with the comments by sneaky and RT, this movie exposes a vile industry that is part and parcel of the whole left wing agenda. Force acceptance of gender fluidity, allow children to make their own decisions regarding their gender/sexuality…once thats accepted, wallla, you have the avenue for open and legal pedophilia.
You think it isn’t a real issue? Look at the recent UN statement regarding how age of consent for sex with adults should be lowered to below 18….they don’t give an age, just below 18. They are essentially trying to make underage sex with adults normal.
And this move throws pie in their face.

Re: Sound of Freedom - 07/16/23 11:22 PM
Yeah, I know it's good, but I don't think I can watch it. I have watched some, now grown, victim testimonies. The whole high government officials, world-wide, behind it might actually be true. That's some scary, evil stuff.

There is a reason the new Barbie movie is PG13. That’s ridiculous.
13?year olds don’t play with Barbie’s. It’s pushing messages on 3-4-5 year olds.
Will likely wait to see it at home. Annoys me when claims of left or right conspiracy surrounds something as simple as a movie. Rumors about democrats delaying movie for 5yrs, theaters intentionally closing or turning up heat are likely just a bunch if bs from both sides.
It was delayed 5 years, look who owned the rights to it.

If y'all hear about me loosing my mind and doing vile and evil things to someone, it will be over a child. It is the duty of a real man to protect the young children and people who can't protect themselfs. There is no mercy or forgiveness for child molesters, groomers or other pervy adults. They are mentally ill and only cured by a proper application of high speed projectile injection.

https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/...exual-assault-child-trafficking-charges/North Texas teacher Gershon Caston facing aggravated sexual assault, child trafficking chargesDALLAS (CBSNewsTexas.com) - A North Texas teacher is one of four people arrested by a joint task force within the past week in connection to the sex trafficking of an underage victim in Dallas.
Thirty-six-year-old Gershon Caston, who's worked for four different North Texas school districts in the past decade, is charged with aggravated sex assault of a child, trafficking of a child, and compelling prostitution by a minor.
Lamorris Hudspeth, Amber Gords, and Adarius Staples were also charged.
The Dallas Police Department reports a preliminary investigation by the North Texas Trafficking Task Force found the crimes were committed in June and July of this year.
A source familiar with the investigation told CBS News Texas the case is linked to the disappearance of an 11-year-old girl in southern Dallas last week, who became the subject of an Amber Alert. Waxahachie Police reported Saturday she'd been found safe.
Caston is currently employed by Red Oak ISD as a teacher and coach for Red Oak Middle School. A district spokesperson, though, says he was hired in May and so far had only assisted with a summer strength and conditioning camp.

There is much much more to it all and they had to make decisions about what the general public could handle and accept. Selling body parts, adrenochrome, Ukraine war etc... it will eventually all be made more public I would think but it is a horrifying thing that is incomprehensible to most because of the level of evil involved.
