Coen Brothers movies generally have weird elements to them, "Raising Arizona", "O Brother Where Are Thou", interesting but quirky. Of their stuff, I liked "No Country" the best.

I pretty much stopped watching anything made after 2005 and some made before.
No black woman in charge. As a matter of fact I don't remember seeing any women in the movie. No gay cowboys. No slaves. All peacemaker pistols required reloading after 6 shots. The pistols shot out white smoke & recoiled. None of the cowboys wore jeans - they all were in authentic period dress. When watching, play close attention to the wounded marshal's flashbacks as they make sense later in the show.

Two nights ago the Amazon signal paused every 10 seconds, for about 30 seconds each time. (Hughesnet.) Last night it didn't stop once and I was able to finish this movie.

Watched it last night and thought it was a solid movie. I thought one of the funnier lines in the movie was when the main character told his son “I’ll crack your crust” as he was handing out some discipline.
