Can anyone recommend... - 10/05/21 09:14 PM
...a person or firm that can help liquidate a huge collection of furniture and antiques?
Back story - A very nice older lady in our community recently passed away. She had no children and no living siblings to leave her property to, so in her will she left everything to her four nephews. There is a 4000 square foot house sitting on about 250 acres. The house and land aren't a problem, but the contents of the house are. Every room in this house is literally crammed from wall to wall with some really nice older furniture and more antiques than you can count. And a lot of it is high end stuff that she paid thousand's for years ago. I need to hook these four brothers up with someone reputable that knows what they're doing, both in appraising the value of the objects and in arranging to get them sold. Does anyone have a recommendation on who to contact for this type of thing?
