I've never tried any of his recipes, but have been a big fan of his channel for a long time. I'd love to meet him in person, seems like a really good guy. He & his wife both.

I have his first cookbook. It is almost a coffee table book. Just a pleasure to read. Recommend his Red Rived Ranch seasoning. Good stuff. It has a citrus hint. A little goes a long way. I think it would make wet sawdust tasty.

He does a video predicting rain by the bubbles in his coffee cup. I watch my first cup every day and measure the temp of my egg pan by my palm.

Yep saw that one.

Kent's the real deal. Cooking outside in the wind/on a campfire (or Bertha) etc the way he often does is not easy. Every time I watch his videos I tell myself I'm gonna order his Red River Ranch seasoning, but then I look over at the ginormous collection of seasonings I already have and don't do it LOL. I also need to order some of his mesquite spatulers. I love mesquite cooking utensils and haven't used any since my ex took mine.

He said something like, "Ain't nobody gonna fight in the will over the Teflon. They will fight for the cast-iron."
