Never ends.

Told my wife her meatloaf was good, but to get the recipe from my mother and ask her how she cooks it. That was in 1986....I still hear about it.

When first married in 1976 told my wife her Tacos were good but not how my mother made them. She said " Have your mom make my tacos and not her."
I shut up and learned a lesson quick. That was 45 years ago.

My brother was stupid enough to say similar to his wife regarding chicken and dumplings. Her grandmother was Czech and made dumplings from scratch. Mom made them with Bisquick.

I've said many stupid things to my wife. (Make that wives. ) All of us have, even if some can't admit they've ever made mistake...in anything.

That disproves one thing. "The two happiest days were when I bought my boat Nd when I sold it."

Stopping at the horse races on the way home from playing golf and drinking beer with some buddies on Valentine's day when I was supposed to be home having V-day dinner with my new bride, then covering it up with a good excuse, then accidentally blowing myself in a few weeks later and getting busted. Should have been happy drinking beer and playing golf on Valentine's, but I got greedy and went for the trifecta.....pun intended

Bought a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT350 K-Code high performance 289 in 1973 for $3500 bucks. Sold/traded it in 1976 for $4000 and a YZ 250 Yamaha Motorcross Bike after the AC went south to a guy I worked with. . What the heck was I thinking.

Had a buddy come up behind me while my dog was pointing a pair of birds. He didn't announce himself. The birds flushed, I swung on them, fired.....he got sprayed.

Thinking back dave, I've have a lot more things to regret as far a moola goes. Had a half cab 1967 ford Broncho i let go for a song about the same time frame. Heck could have been as wealthy as Bill. .

i traded my 1979 rm 125 plus mx boots and $1200 for a 1970 1/2 z28 and 6 months later sold the car for $2200. both me and the guy that got the bike had second thoughts 10 years later

In thinking about all of this, and the things I wish I hadn’t done, very quickly my thoughts turned to opportunities and things I could have done, and sincerely wish I had done. A missed opportunity will always be that. You can never catch up.

Many years of handling solvent, pesticides, herbicides and breathing in all many of dust and fumes. I never thought anything of 40 years ago. One of these days it is going catch up with me.

I pray to god It doesent catch up to me.


I used to spray paint, stain, laquer with no mask, sand with no mask, spray remedy and diesel with no shirt, no mask drinking a beer while that shizz was drifting back over me.


That is the dumb shtye i regret doing, not moments with friends, parents, or girls
