Anyone else trying to ride the crypto train? I’m to poor to ride the Bitcoin craze but since Doge is so cheap I figured why the hell not. Bought 5,000 coins even if it were to ever hit $1,000 that would be 5 Million.

If I suddenly retire you guys know why lol.

Lol I’m not playing around with any of my retirement money. That’s all safe. This is just really messing around basically playing the lottery. But the way Bitcoin turned out who knows what other cryptos might do in 5-10 years.

The story is not written for Bitcoin yet........I suggest targeting sectors like the internet of things, marijuana, cash flow cows like Spotify........you can still hit home runs staying more in the main stream IMO....

My 16 year old bought some in his robinhood account a couple months ago.

I bought some dogecoin then it went down about 50%, is coming back but slowly. XRP has had a good week but I don’t have any of it. If it dips again I may buy some. Like Kyle, not retirement money, I can lose this and not effect my day.

I have a little Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. I was able to lose the money I put in, but if it all dumped now, it would sting a bit. Started in 2017 and it has become a nice nest egg.

Doge will never hit 1,000 - it will be lucky to ever make it $1....Doge is infinite - Bitcoin is limited to something like 20-22 million. Those fundamentals alone will prevent it from ever becoming close to what Bitcoin was.

With that said - it's fun to buy at the dips (below $0.04) and sell it when it gets up to $0.06-0.07...and rinse and repeat.

I throw a few bucks here and there at it. Think of it as pure gambling and that at one point cryto will blow up or dry up and blow away. If I loose it all it was at least entertaining. Mainly buy XRP and XLM because like Bitcoin they have potential for real world application some day.

I'm in on Doge now as well. Let's see how this goes.

Damn I didn’t buy mine until it was .06 per. A buddy of mine bought 25k at .004 and sold it off at .06. Told him today he was a dumbass. Kicking myself for not buying more. It was cheap. 20k would have only cost me $1200 at the time. But was a bit scared.

I use Robin Hood. Just sign up for an account and link your bank account and make deposit. Search for DOGE and purchase. Crypto is instant don’t have to wait for exchange to open the next day.

I used Robinhood as well. Like an dumazz I sold mine at .056. Had 3,603 coins, would now be worth $1,116 at the .31 price it is now! 😡 like others just play money but still sucks missing out.

Thinking about cashing out $1200 from my Tesla stock and buying 5k more coins. The return on DOGE is much better than my Tesla stock.

Don’t get too caught up on it - it isn’t and will never be Bitcoin. Please don’t sink money you don’t have into it - you will inevitably lose. There are currently over 100 billion doge in existence with an infinite amount to be mined. Fundamentally it literally cannot be Bitcoin because it would surpass the value of all the money in the world pretty quickly.

Fun gamble to try to make a quick buck - but hopefully no one on here is considering this a viable long term investment.

I’m jealous though - had 100k doge at one point for fun (back when it was 0.002)...y’all enjoy the profits but don’t get greedy. Hearing Robinhood is having major problems. Which isn’t surprising.

I understand this will never be Bitcoin, I’m just riding the wave right now. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility to get way higher. Now of course it’s not going to be Bitcoin high or even Ethereum, but even if it gets to $5 bucks it’ll be a nice little profit.

Based on my research, they can change the rules on crypto at any given moment. That being said, what happens if the original creators decide to cap the amount of coins available? Seems like they would make a fortune if they did so. Again, I have very limited knowledge on the subject other than I dumped 1 k in it a week ago and it's now worth almost 7 k.

I sold just now. Hoping it drops and I will jump back in.

I just signed up for a Robin Hood account. I'm having to wait for it to be approved then I will throw in $1200 and put it all down on Doge Coin. Then let it ride and see what happens.

I’m an idiot normally it falls on Mondays. I sold 11,385 coins last night at .38 to flip it when it dipped again. It didn’t dip lol just went up today.

Yea I’ve done it twice. First 5k I bought at .06 then bought another 6,385 at .27. When it hit .44 and started to drop I sold at around .40ish thinking it was going to go down. Then Dogeday was the next day and I panicked and bought all my shares back at .38 thinking it was going to go crazy on Dogeday and it was a bust. Only went down from there. Think it got down to .23. Now it’s been hovering around 36-38 a couple a days so I figured nothing special was happening and figured it would dip soon so sold at the high of .38. I’m still well ahead, but missed out on about 1k today.

I sold half of my stake in Trulieve and CRON last week turned it all into Dog Money Average Cost $0.3146

My 401k is now a 401(K9)

I set a sell order at .44 a week ago or more due to ATH we had saw at .42

I can't wrap my head around the idea of "investing" in Dogecoin given it was started as a joke and with no real purpose other than speculation. It's just gambling, with very high odds against you. What makes it more or less valuable, someone's tweet?

Ethereum at least has agreed blockchain transactional value. It's still risky, but less so than the other two, so I'm in with a foot, maybe a leg later.
