post count question

Do members get any incentive for high number of posts? Just curious. Lets say someone has a huge number of posts , 99.9% of them in off topic, usually nothing other than a thumbs up or 3 or 4 word sentence reply. Is there money to be made sitting in front of keyboard racking up huge numbers?

Curious why anyone would have enormous number of posts on a hun ting forum and not a single post or reply on a hunting topic.

As far as no posting in the hunting section, well, if you need advise, go in those sections, if you already know what you’re doing hunting, then those sections are nothing more than a pissing match

For some it's apparently linked to their "self-worth" metrics. I don't mind the occasional superfluous post, but when they comment 5 times in the same post with nothing more than a ^^ or "X2" come on. It is funny to watch some of the ones that comment on every post get tripped up and contradict themselves because they can't keep track of what they posted previously.

Some folks find that a really important goal in life.

The only money to be made is if you join only to post in the classifieds.
6 months and 100 posts of nothingness in various threads, then never see em anywhere else but the classifieds.
Some people even pay to be able to sell without doing the 6 months 100 post thing.
