Is wild pig fat good to use when making venison sausage?

This is PURELY opinion. Some love it, some don't.

Me, I personally can't stand it. Perhaps I had some bad luck, but it tastes really different than good farm raised boston butt.

we've used it bunches of times for sausage but for some reason it doesnt seem to keep as long as using domsetic............strange if you ask me

I think fat from a feral hog seems to be totally different that our farm raised hogs. Farm raised is a nice, solid, suet. Wild seems pretty loose.

I like using bacon ends & pieces from "Wally World". They are cheap and give the sausage some flavor.
