I look forward to this every 12 months, and always freeze a few pints to enjoy later on.

I spent the day driving 900 mile from Idaho to southern AZ. First year I can remember missing black eyed peas. Ever!!

I guess my good luck must have been getting home safe. smile

I did New Year Tacos. Refried black eyed peas, carnitas, and shredded cabbage on a corn tortilla.
