This is the first Thanksgiving since I was old enough to feed myself that I didn’t have a Chocolate pie. I realized it early this morning but ain’t nothing open in small town Texas on Thanksgiving so I had to do without. I will get one when I get back to Dallas though.

Ah funny wrong recollection for me.

We celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday/yesterday. After a wonderful meal all I could find was a Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie and a Pumpkin pie.
Asked the wife what happened to the Chocolate Cream pie with the chocolate crumbles on top

She looked at me like I was nuts and said we do not have one, but I will be happy to either make you one or go get one. I said yes we do I saw it.
