Just like the title says. Show me what you have. We are gonna have a party on Friday down at the river and we are wanting to cook some squirrel.

Please refer to rattlesnake recipe:

Directions:

Clean and Skin snake
Cut snake into 4" pieces
Salt and Pepper
Place pieces on cedar plank
Place plank on grill
Grill until cooked
Throw away snake pieces
Eat cedar plank.

Also works with Ram, Javelina, Ducks, Moose, Kingfish, Gafftop, and Carp.

LOL!

I heard you just boil the crap outta them until the meat falls off the bone, then dunk them in BBQ sauce and have a pulled squirrel sandwich.

I haven't tried it.
I heard if I did I would be "nuttier than squirrel sh*t"

Smothered Squirrel recipe above is close to mine...I add fresh sliced mushrooms along with some bell pepper when I brown the onions. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes! With some cathead biscuits or jalapeno cornbread, killing eats!!

The best way I have had squirrel is to boil, then season and chicken fry. I think the boiling helps to make it a little more tender.

First step, dont shoot an old boar. (FYI, he's got the biggest nuts)

Second step, clean them, debone, use all the standard cuts like you would on a bigger animal. (or, if you like the bones on, just quarter up).

Third, soak in milk and Coors light for 4 hours. Then season and chicken fry.

Once they are chicken fried, you can do anything. Squirrel Dumplins are my favorite way to go.

Have to agree with frying them or making dumplins. Try to find some tender cat squirrels to shoot.
